My name is Anette Wachter. I live in Seattle, WA. Married to Charles Mohseni and I am ??
years old. Hah! Not giving that one away. We have one child. He is four legged and furry. His name is Kozmo. I design jewelry and two days a week I work at West Coast Armory in range sales and as a RSO. I not only write my own blog but I write for Gunsandtactics.com, Western Shooting Journal , the FireArmBlog and part of the Gunup.com network. I have been competing in High Power for about 7 years. Three years ago I took up long range and in that time was invited on to the U. S. Rifle Development Team. This year I officially became a member of the US Rifle Team. I shoot with 
.308 bolt action rifle with a 30″ barrel. I shoot with iron sights. Match distances are from 300 yards to 1000 yards. In 2011 I became the second woman and first American woman ever to win the B.C. Rifle Championship in 127 years. I have the NRA 300 yard Civilian National Record.
More accomplishments; 2012 US Team Hayes Silver Medal – Camp Perry Palma. 2012 Team USA Silver medal at the BC Championship. 2012 BC Championship Flintoff Trophy. 2011 41st Division Regional High Power Champion, 2nd Place 2011 Wa St Palma Championship, 2010 Camp Perry Nationals – 1st Place – Remington Band of Brothers Match 1000 yards, 4th Place and HW – Mustin Trophy 1000 yards, 9th Place and HW – Sierra Trophy 1000 yards, and made 2 of 5 1000 yard Shoot Offs. 2006 Camp Perry Army Cup – 4th. 2006 Camp Perry Crowler Cup – 4th.
2012 I started competing in the exciting sport of 3 Gun. This blog started out as a diary of my adventures in shooting and competitions. Turns out people have been reading it!
